How to find your FPL ID

Your FPL ID is the number Fantasy Premier League uses for your team. To find it:

  1. Log in at fantasy.premierleague.com.
  2. Select Pick Team, then Gameweek History.
  3. Look at the address bar. It reads fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/history — the number in the middle is your FPL ID.

It's a public identifier, not a password. FPL Buddy never asks for your Fantasy Premier League login and can't change your real team — everything here is a preview you apply yourself in the official app.

What's inside

My Team

Your actual squad, with a predicted score for every player in it. It flags the starting XI you should be playing, suggests transfers worth making, tells you when a chip is worth burning, and follows the score live once the gameweek kicks off. Injuries and suspensions show as a percentage chance of playing rather than a vague warning triangle.

AI Teams

Two different questions, two different squads. The AI Manager plays the season properly — one team, real transfer limits, a budget it has to live within and chips it has to decide when to spend — and its score is recorded every gameweek so you can see how it's actually doing. The Best XI ignores all that and answers a simpler question: what is the highest-scoring legal squad for the coming gameweek? Both are frozen at the deadline, so what you see afterwards is what was really predicted, not a pick made with hindsight.

Players

Every player in the game, rated and sorted. Predicted points for the next gameweeks, price, form, ownership and the underlying numbers — including a table of players whose returns are lagging their expected goals and assists, which is usually where the next price rise comes from.

Fixture Rotator

Two clubs whose fixtures alternate, so whichever one you start has the easier game. The planner ranks defensive and attacking pairs over the next eight gameweeks, skips the obvious premium clubs you'd never rotate anyway, and suggests the specific cheap players to do it with.

Where the numbers come from

Player data and fixtures come from the public Fantasy Premier League API, and team strength from ClubElo. The ratings are produced by a regression model trained separately for each position on per-gameweek history, then adjusted for who each player is about to face. There's a fuller explanation of the method, and what it can't do, on the about page.
